Highly involved in network projects to develop university cooperation worldwide
Francisco de Borja Martín Garrido is Director of International Relations (SIO) at Universidad Loyola Andalucía. Within the EAIE, he is a member of the Conference Programme Committee. Reporting to ULA President, Borja has contributed to the founding process of the first southern Spain private non-profit university. He works directing and facilitating global strategic partnerships in this Jesuit higher education institution. He joined this vibrant project after eight years working in international trade at Williams and Humbert. He is Director of Extenda Chair in Internationalisation at Loyola Andalucía. Borja was a visiting scholar in Loyola Marymount University, USA and lecturer in executive education programs at Georgetown University and Loyola University Chicago (USA), Spain and Latin-American countries. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from ETEA, Spain, Marquette University, USA, and University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Law from Universidad of Córdoba, Spain and Universitá degli studi di Siena, Italy. Borja is a registered lawyer in Spain. He has a Master’s degree in International Trade by Escuela de Organización Industrial, Spain, and is a PhD candidate in International Management at ETEA-Universidad de Córdoba, Spain.
