Participating in the Communities of Practices and other discussion groups helps to create an interactive and supportive culture of knowledge exchange, allowing members to make full use of the experience of their peers from around the globe.
Meet fellow Communities of Practice members face-to-face at the Community Drop-in Area during the Annual EAIE Conference. Use the campfire area to continue discussions and connect. Bookings for the campfire space are open to registered conference participants. Visit the Gothenburg community group for more information.
The Community Drop-in Area is an interactive space designed for you to meet fellow participants and members of Communities of Practice (CoP). This area includes a campfire space for CoP members to continue discussions from the Community Platform in person. You can also learn about our Community Platform, discover ways to get more involved with the EAIE community, and join daily activities.
In this area, you can:
Connect with fellow CoP members
Learn about using the Community Platform
Discover involvement opportunities in the EAIE, and enjoy some fun afternoon activities
Reserve the campfire area to take discussions offline from the Community Platform
To schedule a discussion in the campfire area with fellow Communities of Practice (CoP) members, you must be registered for the Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition in Gothenburg. The campfire area is available for reservations from Wednesday to Friday. For details on how to book, please visit the Community Platform.
When making a reservation, you’ll need to provide a title and a short description of your discussion. The EAIE Office will review all requests to ensure they align with the purpose of sharing and collaboration within the Communities of Practice. You’ll receive a confirmation once your reservation has been approved.
After your booking is confirmed, be sure to share the date and time of your discussion with your network and on the Community Platform so other CoP members can join. Please note that time slots for the campfire are limited each day.
Important: The Community Drop-in Area is reserved for Communities of Practice discussions only and is not intended for partner meetings.
