What is the EAIE?
Founded in 1989, the European Association for International Education, better known as the EAIE, is the European centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. We are a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions.

Born from the need to address the challenges faced by professionals working in the emerging field of internationalisation, the EAIE has experienced growth spurts since its founding and has expanded its ecosystem along the way. Our 35-year history has created a legacy that provides a robust foundation of knowledge and unmatched expertise.
