Do I need to register for the event?

Yes. Pre-registration is required to attend this event. The event is free for EAIE members, non-members can register by paying a fee of €89. 

Until when can I register?

Registration is open until Wednesday 17 March 12:00 CET.  

Are places limited for this event?

There are limited spaces for this event, available on a first-come, first- served basis. If you wish to attend the event, please register as soon as possible. 

Do I have to attend all four sessions?

No. You can attend as many or as few sessions as you want. Please indicate which sessions you will attend when registering. For non-members, the same registration fee applies whether you attend one or four sessions. Recordings from all the session will be available to watch back if you miss any of the sessions live. 

May I attend all four sessions?

Yes, you are able attend all four sessions. 

Is there a discount for not attending all sessions?

No. The pricing for this event is fixed whether you attend a single session or all four sessions. Recordings of all the sessions will be made available to registered participants after the event, so you watch back any session that you miss live.

Can I amend my session selections?

Yes, you can update your session selections up until Wednesday 17 March 12:00 CET. You can do so by logging in to My EAIE and visiting your registration page. If you are experiencing any issues please contact the EAIE Office

Do I receive a confirmation of my registration?

Yes, once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don’t receive this email within 12 hours, please contact the  EAIE Office. You will receive instructions on how to join your selected sessions on Wednesday 17 March 15:00 CET. A payment receipt is available on request if you have made a payment. 

Can I still register if the registration deadline has already passed?

Late registration is not possible for the EAIE Community Summit. Please ensure that you have registered before registration closes on Wednesday 17 March at 12:00 CET. 

Can I cancel or transfer my registration?

You can transfer your registration to a colleague or friend free of charge up until Monday 15 March 12:00 CET. Please contact the EAIE Office. As recordings of all sessions will be available a cancellation will not be possible.  

Is there a discount if more colleagues from the same institution attend?

No. The event fee is priced per person and unfortunately no discounts will be given for group bookings. EAIE members can attend the event for free but must still register individually. If you’d like to become an EAIE member and attend for free, please take out membership before registering. In addtion to the free registration for this event, you will gain access to member discounts and benefits throughout the year.  

How can I pay the registration fee?

This event is free for EAIE members. If you are not an EAIE member and are paying for the event, payment is possible online by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX and JCB) and some Maestro cards. A payment receipt is available on request if you have made payment. 


How will this event be structured?

Each session begins with two guest speakers to introduce the topic and answer participant questions. After this presentation, participants will join peer-led discussion groups where they meet fellow attendees to share best practices, frustrations and participate in collaborative learning. The session comes to an end with a summary and final words from our guest speakers again.

Will there be a networking opportunity?

Yes. There will be a chance for you to meet and network with fellow participants during daily coffee catch-ups using a networking software. You will receive more information about joining these networking moments when you receive your login details. Please check the programme for more details.  

Joining the sessions

How do I connect to the sessions?

If you have registered for the EAIE Community Summit, you will receive an email on Wednesday 17 March 15:00 CEST with your personalised login details for each session. In preparation for the event, you can test your connection to ensure you have everything installed on your computer for successfully attending. 

What technical requirements do I need to attend?

You will need: 

  • An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE) 
  • Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth 
  • A webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USB plug-in

Can I join the sessions on a mobile device?

You can use the Zoom App to join from your phone or tablet. Please note that in order to participate from a tablet or smartphone, you will need to first install the Zoom App from either the  iTunes App Store or Google Play.  Note that functionality may be different when attending from a mobile device.


Do I have to be a member in order to attend the EAIE Community Summit: the year ahead?

No. EAIE events are open to everyone. However, EAIE members can register for this event free of charge. 

How can I apply for EAIE membership?

You can sign up for EAIE membership before registering for the EAIE Community Summit and immediately benefit from free registration to this event. The difference in registration fee will not be refunded if you sign up for membership after registering for the event. If you have several colleagues who would like to join the Community Summit and benefit from an EAIE membership, it is still possible to take out a group membership package before the end of March.

I can’t remember my login name or password, how can I retrieve it?

You can retrieve your login name or password here. Follow the instructions and the information will be sent to you by email. If you are still experiencing difficulties please contact the EAIE Office and one of our staff members will assist you. 

Can the login and password info be used by more than one user?

No, EAIE accounts and membership are on an individual basis and therefore all records in our database are individual records and linked to the information of one person.
