CC International, the Netherlands
Carmela Criseo

My name is Carmela Criseo. I have been an active member of the EAIE for many years, and for the last two years as a member of the Rainbow Task Force to support inclusion issues within international higher education. I was previously Director of the International Office at a Dutch university of applied sciences. In that role, I introduced Intercultural Theories and Practices as a compulsory course for Dutch and international students. Later, as Head of Consultation Platforms and Networks at the Nuffic agency in The Hague, I integrated the UAF foundation for refugee students into Nuffic’s network. For 10 years now, I have been self-employed at CCInternational, where I realise consultancy and interim management missions in (international) education. I am often faced with urban diversity issues in personnel and student population. My assignments and projects consist of managing intercultural teams and projects in a changing environment. I will be glad to share my expertise as a Steering group member of the Expert Community Inclusion and Diversity. Thank you for your votes.
