Conflict – political or economic, religious or cultural, ethnic or linguistic – is a fact of life in the complex world in which we live. At home and abroad, the work of international educators may be affected by emergencies and longstanding and deeply rooted social schisms. These matters affect individual students and scholars, but also institutional policies, programming and decision-making.
