Bridging the gap between policy and science: success and withdrawal of international students in Germany

  • Wednesday 25 Sept
  • Hall 3, Level 0, Messukeskus Expo and Convention Centre

In 2017, Germany reached its international student mobility goal three years ahead of schedule. But with this fortunate trend of increased incoming mobility came relatively high drop-out rates. Since 2017, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research has financed several projects under the heading ‘Success and withdrawal’ in order to address the drop-out rates of international students. This poster provides an overview of the initiatives developed to overcome this problem.
