Marybeth Gruenewald

Marybeth is Director of Global Initiatives at Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. and oversees non-evaluation report external training programmes and resources for professional credential evaluators and international admission officers. With 28 years of experience in the applied comparative education field, Marybeth has organised and presented conference sessions, training programmes, and workshops on the educational systems of many world regions, as well as presentations regarding fraudulent documentation issues, forensics of fraud detection, diploma mills, institutional accreditation, resources for foreign credential analysis, intercultural communication, and international admissions management topics. As a NAFSA Trainer Corps member, she has taught hundreds of newcomers in the Foreign Educational Credentials Analysis Workshop. She is a frequent presenter at domestic and international conferences such as the EAIE. In addition to her credential evaluation-related role, she engages in social media and content management within the Marketing Team and serves as a liaison between Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) and various organisations, US government departments, and international bodies. Most recently, for six years, she was a member of the EAIE Professional Development Committee where she assisted in the development and delivery of five new EAIE Academy courses ranging from International strategic enrollment management to the Educational systems of Middle East/North Africa and Iran.
