International higher education is becoming increasingly complex, creating a growing need for practical and relevant professional development. The EAIE Academy is looking for experienced practitioners to design and deliver training courses that support colleagues across the sector.

By sharing your expertise, you can help professionals build the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed. All courses are quality assured and supported by the EAIE Professional Development Committee. The deadline for submissions is 9 October 2026.

Submit your training

Complete and submit the proposal form for your online training or in-person training before the 09 October 2026 deadline.

Review and selection

The Professional Development Committee reviews all proposals in October and notifies applicants in November.

Course development

Selected courses enter the development phase from November/December 2026. Timelines may vary depending on the number of approved proposals.

Once development is complete, your course is added to the EAIE Academy catalogue and offered to professionals across the sector.

Who can apply to become an EAIE Academy trainer?

Experienced practitioners with strong facilitation and training skills who can design and deliver a course within one of the pre-defined topic areas and who are passionate about inspiring, challenging and supporting professionals in international higher education.

What formats are available?

Courses can be delivered online through interactive live sessions or in person with a focus on collaboration and peer-to-peer learning. Detailed format-specific requirements are available once you begin the submission process.

What are the key dates?

  • Proposal deadline: 09 October 2026
  • PDC review: October 2026
  • Applicants notified: November 2026
  • Course development begins: November/December 2026 onwards

What happens after I submit?

The Professional Development Committee reviews all proposals in October. Once the review process concludes, you will be notified by email whether your proposal has been selected. If selected, your course enters a collaborative development phase.
