Dorthe Eeg Pedersen has been working as Special Adviser and Credential Evaluator at the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education since 2010. Dorthe has worked with international education, university admission and credential evaluation since 2002. She has been a trainer on recognition issues at national and international seminars and conferences. Moreover, Dorthe was involved as an expert in the writing teams of the EAR HEI manual and STREAM Projects. Her main areas of expertise are the evaluation of credentials from Latin America, India, Spain and Germany. Dorthe is also part of the agency's access qualifications team that sets the criteria for admission to Danish higher education and manages a database of upper secondary qualifications from more than 150 countries. Dorthe holds Master of Arts degrees in Spanish and Nordic Philology from Aarhus University, Denmark.
