Ayselin Yildiz

Ayselin Yildiz is Assistant Professor of international relations at Yasar University, Turkey, where she previously served as director of the European Union Center and Erasmus and ECTS institutional coordinator. She holds a PhD in international relations and a Master of Science in European studies from Middle East Technical University, Turkey. Ayselin has held research fellowships at Wageningen University, the Netherlands, at University of California Berkeley and University of Pittsburgh, USA.

 

Ayselin’s main areas of interest include migration and refugee studies, Turkey–EU relations and external relations of the EU. She has coordinated and engaged in several EU-funded projects, and teaches a Jean Monnet Module titled ‘EU grants and project management’. Ayselin has also authored a volume titled The European Union’s Immigration Policy: Managing Migration in Turkey and Morocco, published by Palgrave Macmillan.
