Aimee Kleinman

Creative, innovative and strategic marketing professional with a wealth of experience in the higher education sector           

Aimee Kleinman is an Education Marketing Consultant at SMRS marketing agency, working with universities globally to help them change for the better. With more than a decade of marketing, communications, and student recruitment experience in higher education, she has a wealth of knowledge of the sector, profession and the unique challenges faced. 

At SMRS, she delivers strategic consultancy with a range of higher education providers and is often found applying established and new business models to higher education and recruitment. Previously, Aimee led strategic communications at UCL, transforming the way the university understands, reaches and engages with audiences. Achieved through a combination of developing and sharing the brand, implementing multi-channel campaigns, re-imagining leadership communications, and introducing digital innovation.

She led the development and implementation of brand and recruitment strategies for UK and European students at King’s College London, and before that, at Middlesex University. She has delivered many successful, high profile campaigns, including King’s first large-scale entry into clearing, open events, and digital advertising.

Aimee is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and keeps up-to-date with marketing knowledge through regular CPD. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from the University of Southampton, a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from UCL, and a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing from BPP Business School, UK.
