The EAIE Academy 2024 will take place at the Social Hub Amsterdam City, located at Wibautstraat 129, 1091 GL Amsterdam.
Hotels
As an EAIE Academy participant, you are kindly requested to book your own accommodation. There are many hotels available within walking distance of the venue. We highly recommend booking accommodation via The Social Hub Amsterdam City website. The Social Hub is affiliated with the EAIE Academy and participants can get a 10% discount when booking a room with discount code EAIE24. We recommend searching for accommodation within the shortest walking distance from the venue, starting with the closest ones: Volkshotel (4 min), CASA Hotel (11 min), Hotel Arena (12 min), The Manor Hotel (15 min), Generator Amsterdam (Hostel) (15 min).
Be aware of fraudulent hotel agencies
Please be aware that fraudulent hotel agencies routinely solicit our participants. As the EAIE only handles Academy registrations, there is no official EAIE Hotel Agency for this event. Beware of any sales calls.
Travel
Amsterdam is a well-connected European city that can be reached easily from across the country and abroad. Amsterdam has an excellent railway infrastructure. Intercity trains hailing from every corner of the Netherlands make a stop at Amsterdam Central Station, including high-speed trains from France, Germany and the UK.
The main international airport of the Netherlands is Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Some budget airlines operate via Eindhoven Airport, connected by bus with Eindhoven Central Station and operate via Rotterdam The Hague Airport from where we can easily take a direct train to Rotterdam Central Station. Both train stations are linked directly with Amsterdam Centraal.

By train
The best way to get from Amsterdam Airport to Amsterdam Centraal Station is by train. The fastest intercity train takes around 14 minutes and costs €4.90.
By shuttle bus
Amsterdam Airport Express Bus 397 does not stop at Amsterdam Centraal station, however, it reaches the city centre and makes stops at Elandsgracht, Museumplein, Rijksmuseum and Leidseplein. The price of a one-way ticket is €6.50 and the price of a return ticket is €11.25. Tickets can be bought either online or directly from the bus driver.

Amsterdam Centraal Station to The Social Hub Amsterdam City
By metro
The easiest and fastest way to reach The Social Hub Amsterdam City is by metro. Metro lines 51, 53, 54 all stop at the Wibautstraat metro stop which is a 2-minute walk to the venue. The journey from Amsterdam Centraal takes about 12 minutes.
By car
The Social Hub Amsterdam City parking has limited availability. It can be arranged at the hotel for €4.50 per hour and €30 for 24 hours.
Charging stations for electric cars are not available at the venue parking space, but there are a few located behind the hotel: Wibautstraat 129, 1091 KR Amsterdam, Olmenweg 2, 1091 TX Amsterdam, Vrolikstraat 171, 1091 TW Amsterdam.
