Mindfulness: Attention and focus

Taking a mindful break during the day helps to improve our concentration and overall productivity. It also helps to re-energise our body and mind. We will begin with a recharging 15-minute guided practice. In the second part of this session, we will learn how mindfulness can help us improve our attention and focus. We will discuss why multitasking is not as good as we think it is. The more we divide our attention through multitasking, the more quality of our attention and productivity decrease. Mindfulness teaches us to give our full undivided attention to one activity at a time. We will offer some suggestions on how to experiment with this during the day, for example through mindful listening.
