Internationalisation in isolation: New currents for the future
- On demand
- Virtual
- Level: All
- Related Expert Communities Strategy and Management
The COVID-19 pandemic and the climate crisis have shown us that internationalisation strategies predicated on physical mobility are unviable. This session therefore provides lessons in internationalisation from universities in geographically or politically isolated contexts. Being away from mobility flows, these universities must swim against the current of mainstream internationalisation. Their experience can thus provide important insights for the future of internationalisation.
This session will be available to watch on-demand and will be broadcast during the virtual programme on Thursday, 28 September at 15:00 CEST.
Topics
- Research on internationalisation
- Leadership, strategy and policy
- Strategic planning
