The European Universities Initiative is starting to transform the European higher education landscape. This session will look at its twofold impact: first, internally in each of the 340 universities that participate in the 44 existing alliances; and second, in driving changes in the countries where they are located. The EUI also offers opportunities for new forms of cooperation with universities outside the EU, taking us into a new era of international education collaboration.
