Session 02.16

Campfire: Generation Z and the search for meaning and sustainability: What does it mean for higher education?

  • Wednesday 27 Sept
    09:00-10:00
  • Campfire Pod 01, Level 2, Rotterdam Ahoy
  • Related Expert Communities Guidance and Counselling

Generation Z students see themselves as agents of change. They are advocating for something they believe in and they are seeking sustainability and meaning. Some staff may find it challenging to work with Gen Z students because they are particularly sensitive when it comes to figures of authority who are not reflective of their views. In this campfire session, we want to hear your stories about Gen Zers and how to find the right tone and attitude in the classroom and academic context in general.
