COIL and virtual exchange as a fluid practice: How to get students on board

Institutions highlight the benefits of Collaborative Online International Learning and virtual exchange from the perspective of programmes, curricula and research. Students are meant to be the main beneficiaries of COIL but have been forgotten as relevant stakeholders. Can they be considered ‘co-creators’? Can COIL be an instrument for inclusion? This session will look at how to train, include and empower students to create a fluid and dynamic exchange.
