Learning to live with others by living with others: Celebrating the homestay model
- Thursday 28 Sept
10:30-12:00 - Level 2, Level 2, Rotterdam Ahoy
Homestays are a wonderful example of how we can connect currents through community and cultural exchange. They create opportunities for students to become fully immersed in their new environment, providing a safe space for lifelong social bonds to be forged and enabling intelligent internationalisation to become deep-rooted in the local community. This poster examines the benefits of homestays as experienced by international students, their institutions and the communities in which they live.
