The blocked account: a safe way for non-EEA students to prove their solvency

  • Thursday 26 Sept
  • Hall 3, Level 0, Messukeskus Expo and Convention Centre

As the national requirements for a successful (study) visa application become stricter, it is up to higher education institutions to support their admitted non-EEA students as much as possible. KU Leuven, a leading Belgian university, has developed a ‘blocked account’ procedure to guarantee an easy, safe and reliable proof of solvency option, both for the Belgian authorities and its consulates, as well as for the students and their families.
