Globalisation and the rapid speed of technological innovation have transformed STEM education into an increasingly internationalised field. However, many universities find STEM-students hesitant to go on mobility programmes. With an overall increase in international applicants for full-degree programmes, the myth that STEM students are not mobile is being challenged.
