Workshop 04

Promoting core values on your campus and with partners

  • Tuesday 24 Sept
  • Room 204, Level 2, Messukeskus Expo and Convention Centre
  • Level: intermediate
  • €299 (€399 for non-members)
  • Related Expert Communities Strategy and Management Joint Programmes

Has your institution experienced a challenge to core values such as academic freedom, autonomy, social responsibility, equitable access and accountability? As important as the response to these challenges is, it is equally important to consider what steps your institution can take to regularly reinforce support for core values—whether in international partnerships or on campus—before the next crisis arises. By building a foundation of support for values, your institution will be better able to respond to challenges, and create an environment that supports all students, faculty and staff. This workshop will offer advice and concrete suggestions for developing a values culture and developing a framework for responding to incidents.
