Unpacking intercultural competence: ways to assess

How to assess intercultural competence is a frequently discussed topic in international education. However, in order to determine appropriate assessment, we first need to unpack intercultural competence. What does it mean for a specific programme of study and for a specific profession? How can intercultural competence be captured in learning outcomes? In this session, the speakers 'unpack' intercultural competence in three very different contexts and discuss appropriate ways to assess it.
