Session 07.11

Integrating Syrian refugees into higher education systems: a success story

There were more than 3.5 million Syrian refugees in Turkey, as of August 2018. Among the issues this gave rise to was the crucial one of how to integrate refugees into higher education systems. Presenters from Turkish universities that have run successful integration programmes for Syrian refugees will share their practices, experiences and lessons learned during this session. They will also discuss how the Erasmus+ programme could facilitate this integration process.
