Nacho Sánchez García-Abril

Nacho is Manager of the Employability Department at Fundación General Universidad de Valladolid, Spain and is responsible for redefining and implementing the university’s employability strategy. Nacho has worked in employability for the last 16 years, has participated in more than 20 transnational projects and coordinated 4000 international traineeships, and shared his expertise as a Steering group member in the EAIE Expert Community Employability. Over the course of his career, he has directly helped students become more employable, evaluated proposals and audited projects for the European Commission, counselled national and international bodies on employability issues and participated in various professional discussion forums and networks. Nacho has a Bachelor’s in business and administration from the University of Valladolid, having completing an academic year at the University of Skövde, Sweden. He also has a Bachelor’s in languages for business from the University of Wolverhampton, England and an MBA from the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce, and he completed the Advanced Management Programme at the Instituto de Empresa, Spain.
