Michiel has more than 14 years of marketing experience, having worked in a digital marketing role for Saxion University of Applied Sciences, one of the largest higher education institutions in the Netherlands. During his time at Saxion, Michiel worked on transitioning the organisation from an offline-first to an online-first marketing approach and marketed to both international and domestic target audiences. Michiel has delivered several workshops and training courses for the EAIE on topics such as optimising websites and implementing Google Analytics to calculate return on investment of online marketing campaigns. Recently Michiel transitioned to the non-profit sector, where he now serves as an Online Marketing Specialist.
