Hande Baltaci

Hande Baltacı is the Manager of the International Relations Office at Istanbul Şehir University (ŞEHİR), a non-profit foundation university in Turkey. In 2006, Hande began her professional career in international education at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government as the Programme Coordinator of the Kokkalis Program on Southeastern and East Central Europe. With her relocation to Istanbul, she has joined the establishment team of Özyeğin University and served in different positions during her tenure covering aspects such as the management of summer programmes, international student recruitment and Erasmus exchange programme. In 2012, she transferred to ŞEHİR and is since then responsible for managing international relations, international student recruitment policies and agency network, mobility programmes and for setting up educational cooperation linkages with other higher education institutions. Hande has a BA in History and International Relations from Connecticut College, and an MA in History from Tufts University in the United States.
