Tanja Reiffenrath

Tanja Reiffenrath works as Project Coordinator at the University of Goettingen, Germany. She works in student and academic services and is the coordinator of the project ‘Internationalisation of the Curricula’. Tanja has taught and published on diversity issues, transnationalism and the representation of the ‘other’. In 2017, she co-edited the volume Internationalisierung der Curricula an Hochschulen: Konzepte, Initiativen, Maßnahmen (Internationalisation of the Curricula in Higher Education: Concepts, Initiatives and Actions). From 2016–2017, she contributed to a working group on curriculum internationalisation for the German Rectors’ Conference, which published recommendations for higher education institutions. Tanja holds a PhD in American Studies and has studied at the Universities of Paderborn and Siegen, Germany, as well as the University of Oklahoma, USA. She became involved with the EAIE in 2016 as an Associate in the Expert Community Internationalisation at Home and will continue to contribute as Chair of this group in the next two years.
Tanja was recognised with the Rising Star Award in 2018 for her excellent work as a volunteer leader of the Expert Community Internationalisation at Home.
