Session 07.09

Do universities need a foreign policy?

International engagement for higher education institutions faces new frontiers as relations between nation states and political alliances shift. Institutions can find themselves in complex positions between the various alliances of their constituent populations and campus locations, as well as between home and host country governments as they engage globally. Amid this increasing complexity and governmental scrutiny, this session will look at whether institutions need a foreign policy.
