Since the percentage of mobile students remains low, international and intercultural dimensions need to be integrated into all aspects of the curriculum to develop global competences among all students. In this session, we will look at the horizontal and vertical alignment of an internationalised home curriculum. We will explore the horizontal alignment on the basis of Biggs’ constructive alignment theory, and concrete examples from EU and Latin American contexts will be given.
