Session 05.07

Diversity beyond language and culture: tensions versus added value

Around the world, the discourse in higher education has shifted from ‘internationalising’ to ‘cultivating diversity and inclusion’. Although we experience the value of diversity in our programmes, there are tensions that need to be addressed. This session will unpack the meaning of diversity and explore how its added value can be made explicit, using examples from the Erasmus+ EQUIIP project and institutions in France, the Netherlands and the UK.
