Registration
Do I receive a confirmation of my registration?
Yes, once your payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email. If you don’t receive this email within 12 hours, please contact the EAIE Office. A payment receipt is available on request. Instructions on how to join the event will be sent out separately 1–2 days before the event.
When does registration close?
It may be possible to book up until the day before the event if places on the courses remain available. All courses have a cap on the number of spots available to ensure maximum interaction and engagement during the session and break-outs. If you wish to attend a course, please register as soon as possible.
Can I cancel my registration?
Due to the limited places available on all courses, it is not possible to cancel or transfer your booking. Please ensure you are able to attend, before booking as there are no refunds. In case you have already booked and cannot attend, please contact the EAIE Office.
Is there a discount if more colleagues from the same institution attend?
No. The course fee is priced per person and unfortunately no discounts will be given for group bookings.
Do I receive a discount if I have attended an EAIE Academy before?
Unfortunately, the Academy Alumni discount cannot be applied to the Online Academy courses.
Will you be running more EAIE Academies courses?
We are looking forward to bringing you more practical courses throughout 2024. Please subscribe to be contacted when we have more information.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
A certificate of attendance is available on request for those that attended the entire course. Please contact the EAIE Office with your request.
Joining the online course
How do I connect to the sessions?
If you have registered for the Online Academy you will receive your personalised login details 1-2 days before the course starts. In preparation for the event, you can review the training guidelines to ensure you have everything installed on your computer that you will need.
How is the course conducted?
All courses comprise six hours of face-to-face learning and approximately two hours of self-guided study to be completed at your own pace before the second day of training. In your confirmation email, you might receive a list of pre-reading materials to be completed before the course starts. On the first day, the course runs from 14:00 to 17:30 including a half-hour of networking from 17:00. Following a self-guided study day, the second online face-to-face training day runs from 14:00 to 17:00.
What technical requirements do I need to attend?
As a minimum to join you will need:
- An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
- Speakers and a microphone – built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth
- A webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USB plug-in

EAIE membership
Do I have to be a member in order to attend the Online Academy?
No. EAIE events are open to everyone. However, EAIE members receive a significant discount on their course fee.
How can I apply for EAIE membership to make use of the discount?
If you can sign up for EAIE membership before registering for the Online Academy, you can immediately benefit from the fee discount. The difference in registration fee will not be refunded if you sign up for membership after registering for the event.

I can’t remember my login name or password, how can I retrieve it?
You can retrieve your login name or password here. Follow the instructions and the information will be sent to you by e-mail. If you are still experiencing difficulties please contact the EAIE Office and one of our staff members will assist you.
Can the login and password info be used by more than one user?
No, EAIE accounts and membership are on an individual basis and therefore all records in our database are individual records and linked to the information of one person.
Payment
How can I pay my course fee?
Payment is required upon registration. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and some Maestro cards. All payments made to the EAIE must be in Euros (€). Payment by bank transfer is not possible for EAIE events.
Do I have to pay VAT?
No, there is no VAT payable on the registration fee.
