  • Tuesday 26 Sept
  • Dock 10A, Level 2, Rotterdam Ahoy
  • Level: Intermediate
  • €209 (€319 for non-members)

The digital transformation for the education sector during the COVID-19 pandemic promoted new internationalisation approaches in virtual environments (Collaborative Online International Learning, virtual exchange, virtual challenge experiences and events, virtual internships, multimedia course content...), which led to the engagement of a greater number of students in international opportunities. But how can higher education institutions preserve these portfolios in the post-pandemic scenario? The aim of this workshop is to provide participants with insights and new ideas on how to broaden the international component within their academic programmes and use digital tools to guarantee the development of more inclusive internationalisation.

At the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to:

  • identify the most used modes of delivery of Internationalisation at Home initiatives
  • demonstrate the relevance of digital tools to boost a more inclusive internationalisation strategy
  • formulate short-term goals to enhance the use of technology in your institution, as well as tactics to achieve them

  • Teaching, learning and curriculum
    • Online, blended and hybrid learning
  • Social responsibility
    • Diversity, equity and inclusion
