1000x667_Podcast_Phil Honeywood

Australia has a unique global profile in the world of international education, featuring strong connections across Asia and the Indo-Pacific region and a notably robust international student community. Yet, Australia’s borders have been shut for more than a year now due to the COVID-19 pandemic, leaving international students in limbo and presenting Australian higher education institutions with unprecedented challenges.

As this complex situation continues to evolve, one thing is already clear: whatever its outcome, this crisis is going to shape the future of Australian higher education for some time to come. To bring us up to speed on these developments and help us understand what lies ahead, we are joined in conversation by Phil Honeywood, Chief Executive Officer of the International Education Association of Australia (IEAA).
