Summer teaching is increasingly regarded in higher education institutions as an exciting laboratory for innovative education. Intensive short courses create experiences for students and teaching staff that are fresh and novel compared to term-time teaching. This session is designed to give practitioners new ideas about creative short course education, and to help them think about how summer school staff can take on the role of education innovators more broadly.
