Study abroad programmes build the professional skills that enhance students’ employability. But what if all international students have more or less the same experience in similar destinations? Are we then still ‘building curiosity' and 'openness’ in a way that students can market their study abroad experience to employers? Will employers be impressed by study abroad experiences that all sound the same? This session will look at alternative routes to providing an international experience.
