Tom Hayton

Tom Hayton is a creative director, consultant, film-maker and public speaker, working mostly in tech. His mission is to empower businesses and individuals by helping them clarify their ideas and bring their stories to life. He produces and directs videos, but also helps businesses and individuals sharpen up their concepts, value propositions and pitches.

Tom believes in creativity as a tool for solving business problems, and has done this for both big global brands and start-ups. Having lived and worked all over the world and speaking seven languages, he brings a multicultural perspective to every project.

Current and former clients include Adidas, Nike, TechCrunch/AOL, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the World Health Organisation (WHO) and many smaller or medium-size companies and start-ups.

His creative work has appeared in The Guardian, The Independent, VICE/Thump and El País, among others.

A former teacher, he is an advisor to the British Council in the MENA region and to Techfugees, and has a particular interest in educational technology for displaced people.

Tom has given talks, appeared on panels and given interviews at King’s College London, Arctic 15, TechCrunch Disrupt, French Tech Berlin, No Lost Generation and BBC Click. He also occasionally judges hackathons. In his spare time he is a keen judo player.
