Session 09.02

Ignite: Collaborative Online International Learning: from an add-on to an integral tool

Collaborative Online International Learning is a fairly new concept in internationalisation and has become popular since the COVID-19 pandemic hit. As with any new development, the initial stages of COIL have been about figuring out how to put things in place, make them work and get buy-in from people who should be involved. In this Ignite session, we will discuss the development of COIL courses, the addition of building blocks to COIL experiences and the use of UNESCO Story Circles.
