  • Wednesday 14 Sept
  • Upper walkway, Level 1, Fira

The experience of leaving home and travelling thousands of miles to study in another country is transformative. This poster presents the results of a study that examined the long-term impact on participants’ national and self-identity and obtained further understanding of the role of the transformative learning experience after they return home. The results are informed by data collected from Omani citizens who studied in the United States and now live and work in Oman .
