Registration for the EAIE Academy course “Developing a strategic internationalisation plan: mastering the fundamentals” on 16–17 May is now open. Throughout the course, participate in solution-focused discussions, leverage peer consultancy, and acquire practical management tools. The program guides you through creating a successful strategic internationalisation plan for your institution or department, covering steps for each planning phase, pitfalls to avoid, and the involvement of key stakeholders. 

What you'll learn

In this course, you’ll be guided through the entire process of designing and introducing a successful strategic internationalisation plan for your institution or department. You’ll learn the steps to take for each phase of strategic planning, the pitfalls to avoid and the key stakeholders to involve. You’ll also learn how to diagnose your strategic needs and will consider how important communication is to each stage of the strategic planning process. You’ll draw lessons from relevant case studies and a range of hands-on exercises, and will start to develop a plan of action suited to your circumstances. You’ll also have the opportunity to reflect on how to monitor and evaluate the progress of your plan. It’s strategic planning made practicable, and by the end you’ll be ready to take action upon returning to your institution.
