Senior Recruitment and Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global admissions and marketing strategy aligned with institutional growth targets
- Advise senior leadership on market trends, student mobility patterns, and emerging risks or opportunities
- Identify new international markets and expansion opportunities, including country-specific recruitment initiatives
- Build and manage a global network of education agents, school counselors, and feeder institutions
- Represent the institution at international fairs, school visits, and webinars to attract prospective students
- Oversee all international marketing efforts, including digital campaigns, website content, print materials, and social media
- Leverage data analytics and CRM insights to optimize lead generation and campaign performance
- Oversee the end-to-end international admissions process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and student satisfaction
- Work closely with academic and operational teams to ensure admissions criteria, entry routes, and student support alignment with institutional and partner expectations
- Cultivate strong relationships with universities, delivery partners, and regulatory bodies
- Monitor international market trends, visa policy changes, and competitor activities
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in International Education, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven success in driving student enrollments across multiple global regions.
- Experience managing international teams, agencies, and marketing campaigns.
- Experience with data and reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of foundation, pathway, and transnational education models.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with UK/Australian/Canadian/USA/New Zealand higher education systems.
Skills, competencies and experience requirements
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in international education, international student recruitment, pathway programmes or transnational education.
- Strategic thinking and global mindset
- Strong leadership, interpersonal communication and management experience.
- Results-driven and data-informed decision-making
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity, and confidence in working with diverse stakeholders
- Strong writing, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of international admissions, student recruitment and progression frameworks.
- Experience working across multiple higher education systems (UK, US, EU, Asia, Middle East).
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience with NCUK or similar pathway consortia.
- Experience managing multi-country recruitment networks and agents.
