As our Programme Assistant, you support the Knowledge and Professional Development teams in the development of the Annual EAIE Conference programme of around 250 sessions and posters from 500+ speakers, and the year-round professional development activities. Combined, these learning events attract thousands of people from all around the world. You will work closely with the Professional Development Coordinator and the Conference Programme Coordinator to develop innovative and high-quality learning opportunities. You thrive in an international environment, are highly collaborative and feel comfortable working independently when needed. You will report to the Professional Development Manager. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the conference inbox for all programme related questions
  • Support in communications for programme/training contributors and participants
  • Collect, update and store programme contributor/trainer documentation, files and learning materials 
  • Maintain the online EAIE job board
  • Support with the logistical aspects of conference sessions and training programmes
  • Add programme events to internal systems, keeping information up-to-date
  • Assist the team with producing meeting documents
  • Communicate and share relevant information with other teams as needed
  • Assist the Knowledge and Professional Development teams with ad-hoc projects

Requirement

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • MBO / Associate Degree
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel within Europe occasionally
  • A valid work permit and already living in the (wider) Amsterdam area with no restrictions to travel within the EU.
  • Preferably available to start as soon as possible.

  • Salary: starting fulltime salary of €2.800 - €3.000 gross per month, depending on education/work experience. Part time role of 4 days/week (30 hrs). A contract of 12 months will be offered initially with expectation of extending. Preferably available to start as soon as possible.
  • Work where you thrive: we work hybrid, one or two days a week in the office. Plus, we cover your working from home costs with a monthly net allowance of € 52,68.
