The UCAM-SENS unit is looking for an experienced Postdoctoral Researcher in Biomedical Wearable Sensors.
The UCAM-SENS research unit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher specializing in biomedical wearable sensors.
If you have a strong track record in designing and testing innovative epidermal and intradermal sensors for ions, biomolecules, proteins, or hormones, we encourage you to apply.
In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of postdocs, PhD students, and research trainees, contributing to cutting-edge developments in wearable technology.
Requirements
Technical Expertise
Experience in designing and fabricating novel epidermal wearable sensors.
Integration of chemical and biochemical sensors into wearable devices.
Advanced knowledge of electrochemistry and microfluidics.
Basic proficiency in electronic circuitry, firmware, and electrical connections.
Analytical validation and on-body assessment.
Skills
Strong academic leadership and team management.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
Qualifications
PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering (completed).
Research Outcomes
At least 5 peer-reviewed publications in biomedical wearable sensors (attach with application).
