Linda Johnson

Linda Johnson is currently Executive Secretary/Head of Executive Services at ISS in the Netherlands. ISS is an international research school/graduate school specialising in development studies. ISS is part of the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Linda studied Comparative Literature at the University of East Anglia, UK, and completed a postgraduate teaching diploma at the University of Sussex, UK, and an MBA at the British Open University. She has taught in England, Nigeria, Germany and the Netherlands over the past few decades. Since 1988, she has been involved in the field of international relations in higher education. Linda has held a number of posts in the field, including Head of International Office and later Head of Educational Affairs at a Dutch university for Applied Science, Director of an American Study Abroad Programme and Head of International Relations at the Dutch Academy of Science.
Linda has been active in the EAIE since its inception and has served both as Chair of the EAIE Professional Section Economics and Business Studies (EBS) and as President of the Association. She is currently a member of the Publications Committee and Series Editor for the EAIE Occasional Papers.
