Kathrin Theurillat is Director of Israel's National Erasmus+ Office, hosted by the Israeli Council for Higher Education. She has been involved in different projects and policy processes in the higher education sector in Israel. In her current role, she is responsible for the management of Erasmus+ in Israel, and her work focuses on integrating this programme into the strategy and practice of the higher education sector all around Israel. Kathrin’s expertise includes implementing evaluation processes of Capacity Building, Mobility projects and the Erasmus+ impact in the Israeli context, and thus brings an international perspective into the discussion on European programmes. She holds a BA in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and a MA in History from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
In 2020, she became an Associate in the Expert Community European Collaborative Programmes.
