Movement on the Ground: A conversation with Charlie MacGregor

On 06 February 2023, a series of major earthquakes struck a region along the Turkish-Syrian border. In the wake of this catastrophic event, many organisations have stepped in to provide short and longer-term assistance to the devastated communities in this region, but much remains to be done.  

Laura Rumbley, Director for Knowledge Development and Research at the EAIE sat down for a conversation with Charlie MacGregor. Charlie is the CEO of The Social Hub and a co-founder of a unique relief and community-building organisation called Movement on the Ground. The two came together to discuss the organisation and its efforts to establish a semi-permanent hospital in Northwestern Syria.
