Session 01B

How can virtual exchange help to build institutional networks?

Virtual exchange is an engaging and effective scenario for both disciplinary international learning and the acquisition of 21st century skills. Yet upscaling it remains a challenge, as this entails building bridges between top-down visions and bottom-up initiatives. This session will draw on experiences with virtual exchange in different contexts across the European university network ENLIGHT to reflect on how some of the most common challenges in this context might jointly be tackled.
