Key Responsibilities

A. Progression Partnership Development 

• Identify, evaluate, and establish new progression articulation agreements with globally recognised universities. • Lead the design and negotiation of progression routes, credit transfers, academic alignment, and entry requirements. • Ensure alignment between Alvis Pathway programs and partner university curricula. • Conduct annual reviews of all existing progression agreements to ensure compliance and relevance. • Facilitate collaborative academic mapping sessions between Alvis Pathway faculty and partner universities. • Lead the development and renewal of MOUs, articulation agreements, and legal documents. • Oversee quality assurance processes related to academic progression.

B. Direct Student Placement & Recruitment Partnerships 

• Develop and manage recruitment-focused partnerships to enable direct student placement into undergraduate and postgraduate programs. • Work closely with NCUK and non-NCUK universities to secure admission pathways, scholarships, and guaranteed entry routes. • Negotiate placement agreements focusing on quotas, commission structures, and student benefits. • Serve as the senior liaison for recruitment-related communication with all partner universities. • Align student placement strategies with recruitment, marketing, and admissions teams. • Support and guide university visits, student interviews, and campus engagement events.

C. Strategic Planning & Growth

• Design and implement a global university partnership strategic plan aligned with Alvis Pathway’s long-term goals and strategy 2030. • Conduct market intelligence research to identify high-demand subjects, regions, and new partnership opportunities. • Drive innovation in pathway design, joint programs, dual degrees, and transnational education opportunities. • Forecast growth in student progression volumes and partnership expansion. • Provide advice to senior leadership on global trends, international accreditation systems, and regulatory changes.

D. Relationship Management & Representation

• Act as the partnership representative of Alvis Pathway to universities, government bodies, and academic organisations. • Build long-term, high-value relationships with senior university leadership (Deans, Directors, International Officers). • Host delegation visits, partnership meetings, and joint marketing activities. • Represent Alvis Pathway at global education fairs, conferences, and strategic events.

E. Student Outcome Enhancement 

• Oversee the development of progression guidance tools, workshops, and information materials. • Monitor student success metrics across all partner universities. • Ensure progression opportunities align with student demand, academic strengths, and employability outcomes. • Collaborate with student services to ensure a seamless application and transition process.

F. Marketing, Communications & Brand Development

• Work with Alvis Pathway and NCUK marketing teams to develop materials highlighting university partners and progression success stories. • Oversee co-branded marketing with partner universities for both progression and recruitment pathways. • Support digital campaigns, webinars, and recruitment events featuring partner universities.

G. Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive records of all partnership agreements, compliance requirements, and renewal timelines. • Analyse and report on progression rates, acceptance outcomes, and recruitment performance. • Provide regular updates and strategic reports to senior leadership and the Board. • Manage KPIs related to partnership performance and student placements.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential
• Master’s degree (Education, International Relations, Business, or related field).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in international education, university partnerships, pathways, or
transnational education.
• Proven record of negotiating and managing university articulation agreements.
• Strong background in student recruitment partnerships and international admissions.
• Demonstrated project leadership and planning expertise.
• Experience working with global higher education systems (UK, US, EU, Asia, Middle East, etc.).

Preferred
• Experience working with NCUK or similar pathway consortia.
• Experience in managing multi-country recruitment networks.
• Knowledge of credit transfer frameworks and global quality assurance standards.
