Maria Teresa Gullace is an Executive PhD candidate at the Polytechnic University of Milan in Italy.  She has over ten years of professional experience in the design, development and construction of public student housing in Italy. Maria Teresa cooperates as a researcher on the European project “HOME – Home of Mobile Europeans”, funded in 2019 by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, Key Action 2. She helped the project consortium, composed of six European partners, to foster the scientific results and its dissemination presented in Milan on Nov 28-29, 2022, at the European Conference “Welcome HOME - Promoting Quality Student Accommodation for Erasmus+ Mobilities”. Maria Teresa studied Architecture at Universita’ degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria. She is currently completing her PhD research investigating the impact of higher education institutions' internationalisation in the university hospitality context. She participates as a speaker in many conferences and is the author and co-author of several scientific papers on student mobility, student housing development, and hybrid hospitality.
