Majka is a Research and Evaluator Supervisor at Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE). She is a native of Poland, where she studied English language and literature at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. She then moved to Wisconsin and received her Bachelor’s degree in English and linguistics from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Majka’s areas of specialisation cover Eastern and Western Europe, the former Soviet Union, China, Canada, India, Latin America, selected Middle East countries such as Egypt, Iran and Syria, focusing on francophone systems of education, document authenticity and forensics. In 2005, Majka authored ECE Insights: Evaluation Tools for Russian Credentials and co-authored the third volume of ECE’s Education in the Commonwealth Caribbean series, covering the material on the British Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Tobago and nursing education in the Commonwealth Caribbean. Majka has presented at a number of regional, national and international conferences and has delivered numerous on-site and e-learning training programmes within and outside the United States. She has been the lead ECE trainer on document fraud and forensics for several years.
